I am grateful that 26 years ago today I gave birth to a wonderful healthy son and he has not stopped making me smile!!  He has shown me lately how proud of me he is because I have begun this WLS journey.  I wish him a very happy safe July 4h birthday and holiday!

I am also grateful for my husband, daughter and son-inlaw.  Thank you for the 3 beautiful grandchildren.

I am grateful that I feel so good and wish I had not been obese for the last 20 years!!

We are ALL so very proud of you !!!  You not ONLY was delivered from drinking but from overeating also.    We are so proud of you !!!!  And you are so right....it is by God's Grace alone that we get through these addictions whatever they may be !!!!!

Grateful today for freedom !!!!  Not only our "American Freedom" but also freedom from obesity....freedom from the bondage of food and all the holds that it had in my life.   Grateful for the freedom of speach and the freedom of worship.    Grateful for this wonderful country in which we live that we do have freedom of choices...whether to have WLS or NOT and what type.   We should be so grateful for the freedoms that we have been blessed with in our wonderful country.....Good Ole USA !!!!    Happy birthday America !!!   Have a blessed 4th.

Happy 4th of July.
I got up early to take care of my grand-dogs at my daughters.
We used to keep Chloe(Yorkie) when my daughter was out of town
but they got a second dog-Bennigan(Westie) and my husband isn't
a dog person. I just go over and let them out and sit and read
while they play. Actually Bennigan is not a yapper like Chloe and he
is a very good dog.
Got my hair colored and now I need to go to Target/Walmart/or
Kohl's to find the magic foundation that is going to make my
watermelon hernia disappear.
Hope you have a great day. We are going to watch fireworks
in Mansfield this year. We usually go to Las Colinas-the Irving
Symphony plays and the fireworks are good. The traffic is
pretty miserable so we decided to try something new.

WOW thats such an accomplishment!!! I truely cannot imagine conquering that hurdle!!! I couldnt even get past the sugar addiction much less something as powerful as alcohol or drugs. ;)

Good morning!!!  We are all moving a little slower this morning!!  Brother and family came out last night so the kids swam, ate ****a, and watched fireworks down in Cavecreek last night.  We had the perfect view last night from the pool!!!  Now that's the way to watch fireworks!

Today we will head in to my brothers this afternoon as SIL and I are taking the kids swimming and then it will back to their house for a cookout and fireworks.   My niece spent the night with us last night so the kids are already wanting to jump in the pool!!!!

Good morning and Happy 4th!!  Enjoying part of an omelet this morning with some fresh pineapple!!!  SIL and I are taking the kids to Lifetime today to swim and then it will be back to their house for a cookout and fireworks.  

Today's plan... (I think??)
Breakfast: 1/2 omelet, pineapple
Lunch: protein shake
Dinner: grilled chicken and veggies

Good Morning OH Family!

Happy 4th of July!

Nothing planned today.Had a blast last night! Started with dinner, I finally met Jennifer for the first time. Your even more beautiful in person! Than off to Pete's Piano Bar.I got home at 2:30. My goodness haven't stayed out that late in a very long time.We had such a good time!  I think that's where I want to go for my 50th birthday.Well better hop in the shower. Rick wants to go to Wally world this morning before it gets too hot.Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe 4th!

Stephanie!! OMG! I every time I go to Forney to see my sister, her husband and my niece... I MAKE her go with me to Rockwall and stop at the Bahama Bucks! I absolutely love that place for several reasons but my top 2 reasons...
              1) ALWAYS have a WIDE selection of SF flavors!!!
              2) Reasonably priced, WLS friendly, & something for EVERYONE!

I am babysitting my niece in Forney while my sister and husband go on a cruise from July 10-July 16--- I am thinking a LOT of driving to Rockwall to see Bahama Bucks...

Congratulations on your 24 years of sobriety!!! I think it is wonderful!! Everyone here can relate to the addiction cycle, more some then others! You are a STRONG person who can fight the addiction EVERYDAY, because it is for sure an EVERYDAY RECOVERY....   Jessica

Good Morning, TMB and Happy 4th!!

Not much on the agenda today - I'll go watch the fireworks display on the seawall tonite - already fed the plants and had breakfast.  Need to wash and detail the car today - I like to do that myself every once in a while just to make sure it's done right.....yeah, the OCD kicks in sometimes.

THANK YOU TO ALL OUR SERVICE MEN, WOMEN AND THE FAMILIES THAT SUPPORT THEM!!!
