Thanks for the prayers everyone!  I am home!!  I had my appendix out around 11pm and they sent me home at around 3am.  I thought you stayed longer, but I am very grateful that I am home, so I'm not complaining.  Although I do wish I still had the iv pain meds.  This hurts so much worse than RNY hurt!!!  On a positive note, I bet I lost about 6 ozs from the removal.  I haven't eaten anything since two nights ago, so I am now munching on a saltine (they told me to to make the painkillers go down ok).  I also feel so guilty because my throat and mouth is so dry that I have to drink with my saltine.  That's just sad. The surgeon said it wasn't ruptured, but it was very inflammed and definitly needed to come out, so I am very grateful that I listened to my body and just went in.  I was going to put it off, but I'm so glad that I didn't. Thanks again for the prayers and I will see you all tomorrow.
