2 days till my court hearing for ss disability

I saw my lawyer yesterday and he went over how things will go in the court room.  I have never in my life been to court and I am scared to death.  The lawyer said the Judge will ask me questions and I need to listen carefully to the questions and not answer them unless I understand the question clearly then he goes on to say that the Judge I am going in front of wears 2 hearing aids and is hard of hearing  GREAT!!!!  

I pray to God and have been that I will be approved because after Oct 2008 I will have no health insurance and unable to get health insurance due to my health problems and because I had the lapband.  Just one more obstacle I have to overcome.  

I just hope that it all ends soon and I am approved.

  • OMG! Hello, you don't know me but I came across this and I am fascinated! I am 38 yo DWF of 2, 17 and 3. I am BMI 45, in KY, Wanting surgery for ten yrs. Having terrible trouble with ins. I digress, I am a RN on disability. I applied March 07 and was approved on 2nd appeal by OCT 07. I KNOW!! I would love to share info with you! If you decide not to, good luck in court, I will pray for you as I totally understand. If you do want to talk, I am new to this but I will try to figure it out.
