September 8, 2008 - My name is Deborah this is all new to me.  I'm in the very early stages of getting started with WLS.  I've never been "small" but I have weighed less in the past.  I like to be active but since I'm getting older and carrying around to much weight, that has become harder.  I'm married to a wonderful man and have 3 children.  This includes 2 stepchildren Michael and Shelby and the oldest is my daughter Ashley, who is 21 married and pregnant.  Yes, I will be a grandmother and this makes it more important than ever to be around for all of my grandchildren.  My husband and I manage 2 Assisted Livings.  We enjoy our work, even though it can be stressful, which I think causes us not to eat right.  I look forward to talking with other members, and hope I can give some encouragement as well as receive some.
