My Story Been admiring this web site for awhile and its help me so much. First, in making the decision to have the surgery after years of being overweight and now feeling so unhealthy with the poorest quality of life. I want a new lease on life and there's so much i want to do. This has been along journey though. After deciding to have the surgery till now, finally with a date. (May 20th 2008) First I went to many seminars to find the best surgeon and program. I picked GBMC program. Insurance required 6 months of diet. When completing that along with all my testing, my surgeon Dr. David Von Rueden decided he was moving on to a different hospital which I then wanted an additional 4 months. Yet now i am at the end with a date. I am very excited and scared a little too. |
