Surgeon Testimonial

John Mason, M.D.
I think Dr. Mason is a wonderful surgeon. My whole experience with him and his staff has been great. He talks to you and shows real concern with how you are feeling and progressing. He explained everything about the surgery and addressed the risks of surgery. I always felt like I was in good hands. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to have the VSG procedure.

Wow!  I can hardly believe it's been 6 months today that I was beginning this journey, seems like yesterday.  I will post new pics later today but I just wanted to say it's been such a blessing to have been afforded the opportunity to have this surgery.  I enjoy life now so much more!  I enjoy gettting out and going shopping, the compliments I get from my DH, the feeling of fitting in a booth comfortably and not having to ask for a table instead.  I could go on and on.  Happy New Year's Day to all!  May it be you're best year yet!

Today is my 5 month anniversary since surgery.  It's really hard to believe it's been that long.  I went to my doctor's office today and it was strange, yet exciting to think I was walking in there 5 months ago a bit scared and unsure.  I've never regretted having this surgery for a minute and it truly has been one of the best decisions I have made.  I have lost 58lbs and I'm really happy with that.  I have had numerous stalls but I refuse to let it keep me down because I look at the big picture.  Sure, I weigh myself daily but I only post on my anniversary and mid month just to keep me sane.  Pics to come......I'm so bad about this, although I take a few pics on each anniversary day of every month.  Best of luck to all you newbies, soon to be sleevesters and post ops!

Well, it's been 4 months since I had my sleeve surgery and WOW, it has been life changing to say the least!  Weight loss has slowed during month 4, but I'm positive it will pick up.  I just have to make some changes like upping my protein, water and exercise.  I just got my blood work back from my PCP and all looks very good-everything was right on target.  I've gone from a tight 18 to a size 14 and it's a WONDERFUL feeling!  I'm a little over 1/2 way to goal and I can't wait to see where I'm at after the next 4 months!  Happy surgiversary to all July sleevesters!

Debbie

Ok, so I'm 3 months post op today and down 40 lbs since my surgery!  I love my sleeve!  I'm gonna keep this short cuz it took me FOREVER to download some pics.  I have my 1 month post op pics on another disc and will upload some other time.

Today is my 1 month surgiversary and I'm down 24.5lbs!  I didn't exercise much last month but I plan on kicking it in gear this month.
