Surgeon Testimonial

Bryan Freeman, M.D.
I was very impressed with Dr. Freeman and his ofiice staff.I thought of him as a very Christian man. That feature in him very much influenced my decision to have him as my surgeon.
Candrice, one of his bariatric staff, was Dr. Freeman's first LAP RNY.She is wonderful. She came to visit me in the hospital when I was just out of recovery. She brought me a teddy bear. They give them to all their post-op's to use as their "coughing buddy".It helps!!I am very pleased with my choice for a surgeon.

Lindy, I hate that you are having a hard time. Just remember, God doesn't put more on us than we can bear, even though it feels that way sometimes. You and your family are in my daily prayers. Hang tough and know that you have a huge support group! Love, Sandra

Seems like I never have time to update anymore!
I am now 5 years out!! I can't believe it!
Last Wednesday, April 30 I had an EGD done because we suspected that i had a stricture and sure enough, I did! I got to where I couldn't eat or drink or even take ALL my meds without having massive chest pains so I knew something was wrong. I still have a slight sore throat, but it feels much better.  More later today.....lots to tell..Back now!
I could not eat today! Geezzz, now what? Is the stricture back? I can barely drink enough to swallow my massive amount of pills that I have to take to stay ALIVE!

I did get referred to a pain management clinic PTL!! PTL!! I have 2 different patches and I am still trying to get used to them and see if the dosage is correct. I go back in 2 weeks to see the Dr at the PMC. I am so glad to be getting some relief even if it is not taking away ALL of my pain.  I have 3 doctors to see this month and still waiting to hear more about what & when they are going to send me to Emory for the heart issue.  Ok that's all for now......Ohhh BTW, UNJURY protein ROCKS!!  www.unjury.com

My Story

My Story

I am a 34 year old wife to my dream man and mother to two beautiful gifts from God. My children are my life.

I had GBS in March of 2003, so I am almost 4 years out!  I am loving life. This ride has been a bumpy one, but so worth it. I have no regrets and would do this again in a heartbeat. It hasn't been easy. I had lots of troubles till I had another surgery in August of 2005 to repair my twisted intestines. I am fixed now and enjoying life.

I married my OH.com flame Cajun Xpress in May of 2006.

Why is Autism Awareness so important? It affects someone you know, even if you're unaware of it. 1 in every 166 children has Autism. My child has Asperger's, which is a form of Autism. After very thorough research done by ME, I decided he had Asperger's and I was right. It took many years to find the right group of Doctors to diagnose him, but he is finally getting the medical help that he needs. He is currently undergoing Genetic testing. We do know that he has multiple conditions. The BEST condition is that he is a Christian and God has special plans for him. Please become aware of Autism and how it affects our world.
