Two months out....199!
on December 2, 2008 8:54 pm
I am still feeling great. I eat every hour but usually only a bite or two. A lot of protein. Cheeses and dairy and some shakes here and there. Today I hit my onderland! 199! I am finally under 200 pounds, wahoo! I am def. starting to notice my clothes and body in general getting smaller. People are noticing and that is nice. I am almost halfway there! wahoo!

I posted this and thought I would copy it here. :

I just was thinking about my path and thought that some pre-op/post-ops might benefit from a little timeline.Since everyone is different, I thought it would be nice to know how some people are different after surgery.

1st week: hungry, yep, head or not I was hungry, hard breathing with incisions, emotionally very hard saying goodbye to food, hard to drink water, wanting to eat everything
2nd week:still hungry, getting more energy, still tired, incisions almost closed, hard emotionally, soreness almost gone.
3rd week: hunger getting better with soft foods, some sweet cravings, still tired easily, emotionally getting used to not eating, much easier to drink water
4th week: hunger same, incisions almost completely healed, tired easily
5th week: hunger same, getting more energy
6th/7th week-hunger almost diminishing, incisions healed, feeling great after eating small amount
8th week-present: hunger almost non-existent, full after small amount (though having to eat more often)hard time getting all liquids and protein down but trying

One month out and I love my sleeve :)

35 pounds!! woot woot! I am only a month out and I am down 35 pounds! Today I got to eat REAL food. My husband and son and I went to breakfast and I had a bite of egg, a bite of pancake, a bite of ham, and a bite of hashbrown and I was stuffed! YUMMY though! It is great that I can get a little of what I want and I am full! I am going to start working out soon, I am still conserving my energy. I am so thankful i got this done!

30 pounds and counting
on October 23, 2008 11:10 pm
I am in a little bit of a stall. I guess its not a real stall since I am still losing. But instead of 2 pounds a day it is 4 oz a day. Bah! Sometimes I just wish I would wake up and it would be gone. But I know I need to let it melt off so that I am healthy. blablabla. Anyway, I am hoping to get out of my stall soon!! Today I was 215! Almost to wonderland!

Down 25 pounds from Pre-OP!!
on October 10, 2008 9:28 am
I love you my lil sleeve. I miss you my food. haha. UGH! I am loving the weight dripping off! I am dying on this whole liquid diet thing! CLEAR LIQUIDS! Meaning I have only had clear broth, Jell-o and sugar-free popsicles for the last week. MUCH harder than I thought it would be, I have NO CLUE how anerexics do it. But I am strong and losing losing losing so that is getting me through everyday.
I am annoyed with people who are ignorant about the surgery. I mean COME ON, "i just hope you can stick to this?" I hope you can get old and die......mooohahahahahaha. K, I am done!
