Surgeon Testimonial Michael H. Wood M.D. Dr. Wood was concerned and informative FRIENDLY AND PRCISE still waiting for a surgery date. I am very confident with Dr. Wood. I'm going all the way. SURGICAL UPDATE~~~~~~~~~~I HAVE NOT SEEN DR. WOOD SINCE SURGERY. I have been seeing his assistant Dr. Taylor. My appointment w/Dr. Wood is coming up maybe I will see my surgeon lol. My Story Hi to all. I am axiously waiting for my approval. I finally made a decision to have the WLS. Hopefully sometime this fall or early winter. I am 5'll & 414 pounds. Let's get this party started. I have had my stress test , now I have to see a Psychiatric Dr., have a sleep apnea test and lose 10 pounds. My insurance is Great Lakes Health Plan (GLHP-HMO) There is a Center of Excellence in my area and my surgeon is top notch, that is a blessing not to mention when I am approved I will be covered 100 percent. No Co-Pays Thank God. It is a miracle most surgeons in my area only accept Blue Cross.

I could not believe how I was working out and eating right and the weight was not coming off. 
But, anyway I am going to keep pushing.
I am not losing the way I thought I would, I have been battlling for almost 2 months.
God is good so I shouldn't complain but I do compare myself to other OH losers and I say WOW...............I am so behind.
I have the tool now What!!!!!
is to live in torment...........THAT'S THE WORD!! I love seeing the wl progress, I am almost 3 months shy of my surgiversary.

My hubby reminded me of all the blessings and benefits that God has bestowed upon my life. When I thought about it again, and again I can truly say that God has been good to me.
I am venturing off into some new avenues for 2009. My motto will be 
I am doing me. My daughter was accepted to a top university in Michigan.
I am so proud of her. She will graduate hs in june 09. I plan to look supergood for her graduation. It is amazing how I cant wait for special events to come so I can show off my progress. 
It feels good to feel really good about me again! Ok OH keep it real and God bless u all.
NOW IT IS TOTALLY ABOUT SELF CONTROL AND HEAD HUNGER. I CAN EAT A LITTLE BIT MORE BUT I STILL GIVE MYSELF 2

. PROTEIN IS GOOD FOR ME BUT I HAVE BEEN EXPLORING MANY OTHER AVENUES TO GET IT IN. WATER ON THE OTHER HAND HAS BEEN QUITE SCARCE!!

ONE DAY AT A 
No more diabetes, no more meds. For the most part I had one comordite Type II diabetes. I am greatful that eventhough my weight loss is slow it is a LOSS!!! I am scheduled to see my surgeon Friday Sept.19th 2008. Say a prayer for me. 
and that can become very repetitive after a while.
