Surgeon Testimonial

Armando Joya
My first impression of Dr Joya was that he was a very genuine and caring doctor. I only saw him briefly right before and after surgery. Before I went into the OR he held my hand and let me know that I was in very good hands which made me feel a lot better. His staff was wonderful, the nurses and doctors were all very caring and attentive.. most of the nurses don't speak English but tried very very hard to talk to me and make sure that I was comfortable. After surgery he had a doctor that came in every day to talk to me and check up on me to make sure that I was healing okay. After the four days in the hospital were up, I went back to the resort to continue healing (both the resort and the hospital were GORGEOUS, the hospital is like a marble palace).. I still had communication with the hospital and Jorge (the doctor) came by the resort each morning to see me still. I received all of the paperwork for my blood tests, written explanation of what happened during surgery, aftercare information and contact information for Dr Joya and his staff before I left Puerto Vallarta. All in all, my experience in PV couldn't have gone better. I am thrilled with my decision to have Dr Joya as my surgeon and would do it again in a heartbeat. To those who fear going to Mexico- Don't. I received better care in PV than I ever have in Canada or the United States. I highly recommend Dr Joya and his staff. :)
