Jon L. Schram, M.D., F.A.C.S. He was totally awesome and caring. He answered all of my questions. Everyone in his office is so nice and helpful, many having the surgery themselves.
Janie...I wish you
the best of luck
with achieving the
results that you
want from
plastics...you are
going to look even
more fabulous than
you already do! Have
a smooth and
uneventful recovery,
and don't rush
things! Take good
care of yourself. We
January girls are
dying to see those
after pics :o).
Not becuase I was embarassed to show my tummy, but because how could I be happy about one thing, and be in pain about another?. I had a few people ask for my after pics of my PS, but I wasn't ready then. I know Mom would want me to go on, encourage people in their weight loss journey. SO that's what I'm going to continue to do. Thanks for checking out my blog

You look GREAT! From what I can see, your arm's look really good (not like you make them out to be). I bet next summer you might feel brave enough to wear a bikini (if only in front of your family). You will be surprised on how much your scars fade too! Like I said to you before...if you look around at others in swimsuits, you don't need to feel bad if you have a scar or 2 showing (and in my case a ton of stretch marks....LOL).

If you don't mind me asking...how come they did a vertical incision? I am in the beginning stages of researching plastics and want to get as much info. as I can. Thanks for the help!

Thank you for the compliment on my picture. I have to tell you after seeing these pics of your tt, I think I have decided to go forth and seek a tt sooner than later. I figure why wait?!? It is not certain that I will ever get married or have kids, so why put off something for myself (that I feel like I deserve after all this) for something that may never happen! Thank you and I hope you won't mind me asking you questions as I begin the plastics journey. :) Have a great holiday weekend....show off that great tummy of yours!!!!

You go girl! Looks great. I know you are happy to be over the pain. I think the pain tolerance after RNY is so low that anything sucks. I had tubes put in my ears a couple of weeks ago and I hurt for almost a week afterwards. I couldn't believe they didn't put me to sleep. Those mean rascles.
Hugs,
Lindy
