Hi everyone, just got back from the hospital. Tim's lead test went well this morning -- no leaks. Yippee! Unfortunately he got EXTREMELY dehydrated and his blood pressure began to fall seriously low this morning. I was taking my time this morning because I knew he had his lead test and then would need to rest. I guess I should have moved a little faster. He called me, very anxious and scared, and asked that I hurry up and get there because his blood pressure was dropping and he wanted me to pray with him. So my mom and I jumped into the car, and God was turning every light green, (He's great about that!) so we got there pretty quick. By the time we arrived some friends from church were there already praying. They had started him on a saline drip (replace the potassium drip) and pumped 3 bags into him less than 3 hours. I have NEVER seen a IV drip that fast. It was amazing. Well his blood pressure came back up, his color returned and his urine wasn't brown. LESSON everyone - dehydration is wicked stuff so all you recent post ops KEEP SIPPING PLEASE!!! By this evening he was doing much better. He had taken several walks and sat in the chair for several hours. We will see if we can home tomorrow, but that little episode may have cost him another day. Just so he is better and hydrated that's all that matters. Thanks everyone for your well wishes Tim, I know, will really appreciate it. Oh by the way, little Angela came to visit her uncle Tim tonite at the hospital lighting up the room with her contagious smile. You would have never guessed only two days ago she had surgery! God is good! Thanks WLS Family you are all the best in our book! Denice

Tim's surgery was today and all is well. But why wouldn't it be with Dr. Svendsen. I guess men have it a little more difficult because their fat is stored more internally than women. We tend to carry our fat on the outside guys on the inside. The surgery started at 10:50 and he was done at 2:30. He actually had two procedures so all in all it went quite quickly. Tim was feeling very tired this evening but already had several visitors - mostly our church and family. Thanks to all of you who have sent your well wishes. Keep praying for a speedy recovery -- it works. The Wife - Denice
