It's been one year and what an awesome ride it's been. I'm down 105# and healthy and doing things I wouldn't have dreamed of doing a year ago. Was it easy? No. Was it worth it? Yes. I am thankful every day that I worked up the courage and knowledge to go into this with my eyes wide open and work my way to where I am today. Laparoscopic was a wonderful way to go and I believe my surgeons were very skilled and would recommend them highly. The extra few hours trip to them feels well worthwhile. Support from my primarily physician has been phenomenal. Family and friends (now) are glad that I took the plunge as well. I'm happy to chat with anyone trying to make this life saving decision.
Happy ONE Year Anniversary to You! I hope that this post finds you healthier and happier than ever. Please remember to keep your profile updated so that others can share in your progress. You never know who you might inspire. Have a great day!
Hi Marcia - wishing you a safe surgery and rapid recovery! I am moving to Kansas and, in fact, will be very near Overland Park! Please drop me a note and let me know how you're doing!! Congratulations and best wishes!
Marcia,
Just wanted to let you know that I will be praying for you through your journey. I know we will both reach our goals with this tool....
Since we are having surgery the same day, we will do this together.
Best Wishes to a Safe and Speedy Recovery...
