In all things Remember, that the one above loves you, that He holds us all in his loving arms,He knows each of us by name.He said anything you ask for in "my name" will be given to you.So in His name I pray for you, that you be given strength, endurance, love, peace and most of all long life.In Jesus' name. When you wake up and see the faces of your loved ones in the recovery room, know that you have made it.Thank Him,Know that you have been blessed to see and to live out the rest of your days with the ones you love and the ones who love you.....Knowing that He loves you too. Happy soon to be ReBirthday.

5/4/03 Two more days to go! The next days at work will be filled with tying up loose ends, feels like I am going on an extended vacation. Reservations for the cat are made, hotel is reserved for my boyfriend (no adequate accomodations for out of towners), immediate post-op "groceries" are purchased, laundry is done, house will be cleaned tomorrow...... now all I have to do now is wait. Seems like that is all I have done! Nerves are in check today, yesterday they were not - altho a good cry and a very long hug from my boyfriend, along with the reassurance that "you'll be fine" and all was well again. I want to thank everyone that has posted messages on my page - they do truly give you a boost when you need it. I have read them all quite a few times! I did find an interesting (and hilarious) website this evening. It's www.basilwhite.com/gastric. He is a comedian who had the surgery and is very candid with his pre-op and post-op experiences. There is mention that "new" postops may be in pain from laughing so hard!! I highly recommend it. Well, I'll post again when I have new news. God bless and my prayers and thoughts are with everyone going thru to the "other" side this week.
