I just got back in town to Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, after having driven to Vermont over the weekend to attend my husband's father's funeral. I called Dr. Hornbostel's office before I left to give them my cell phone number, in case they heard anything while I was travelling. Well, we just walked in the door, and there is a message on my home answering machine, dated today, saying I am scheduled for surgery on May 7! I HAVE A DATE! I had to update the site before I even unpacked our suitcases and started the laundry! If I were able, I would be doing handsprings all over the living room. Thank you to everyone who has sent me encouraging notes--you are all sooooo wonderful and supportive.
